Somewhere between a sun-dappled morning and the hush of wild green meadows, a little girl climbed onto the soft feathers of her friend a sparrow named Jacky… 🪶

With a basket of flowers and a heart full of wonder, they set off on a tiny adventure—through waving cows parsley and yellow wildflowers, high above the whispering grass.

Where are they going? That’s a mystery only they know. But if you ever see a flicker of wings in the morning light, or hear a giggle drifting down from the clouds, you might just catch a glimpse of their journey—somewhere between dream and day. ✨

The Secret of the Easter Bunny… 🌿🐰✨

As children, we all imagined one Easter Bunny—hopping swiftly through the night, basket in paw, hiding eggs in the garden before the sun would come up. But the more I thought about it, the more I wondered... Could one little rabbit really do it all?

Perhaps, deep in the enchanted woods, a team of dedicated little bunnies was working together, painting eggs under the moonlight, their tiny paws dipped in colorful paint, each brushstroke filled with a little of spring’s magic.

That’s the thought that inspired this illustration —two bunnies carefully painting an enormous egg, bathed in moonlight, creating together. Because even the most magical things often take a little "Teamwork". ✨

A Childhood Memory of Easter Sunday 🌿✨

One of my dearest childhood memories is making a Palmpasen stok—a beautifully decorated staff crowned with a golden, home-baked bread rooster. You see, my mother was raised within the Waldorf tradition, and she passed this sweet custom down to us.

I stillremember the excitement of decorating our sticks—carefully tucking in sprigs of green, stringing dried fruits, and adding little treats. If I recall correctly, there was even a rather unorthodox box of Smarties among the more traditional adornments (hello eighties child)

Walking around and singing songs, it felt like we carried a piece of sunshine, a promise of spring’s and the quiet magic of Easter to come.

That golden memory nestled itself into this illustration—a little girl in a soft yellow dress, holding her own Easter Sunday staff, surrounded by the warmth of nature and a watchful mother hen with her baby chicks.

For me, Easter is about simple joys—baking, creating, and celebrating the light and life returning to the world. I hope this piece brings you that same feeling of warmth and wonder.

A 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 Easter story...

“𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦, 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥… 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚?”

The Easter Bunny was in a bit of a muddle. His basket was full with eggs—blue and green and golden ones that sparkled like the sun on an early spring morning—but he had no idea where to go next!

So, he did what any clever rabbit would do… he asked a feathered friend.

The little bird fluffed his feathers and said, “𝘈 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵?”

“A 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚! A 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙤𝙣𝙚 who still believes in the magic of Easter eggs and hidden surprises!”

The bird gave a wise nod, tilted his head, thought for a second and then—tweet!—pointed his tiny wing toward the heart of the forest.

The bunny’s nose twitched. Ah-ha! That was it! The search was on, he would hide the eggs, and soon, little hands would be reaching for treasures among the moss and wildflowers.

Because where there is wonder, there is always 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚. 💛✨

When I was little, I thought being grown-up meant freedom in the softest, most wonderful ways. I imagined late nights with no one to tell you it was time for bed, and mornings with cake for breakfast -just because you could. I believed there would be a drawer just for me, hidden somewhere in an old wooden desk, filled with secret letters, written in fancy grown-up handwriting, and fragile flowers pressed between pages of beautiful books.

I thought being older meant having quiet moments that belonged only to you—little rituals and treasures that no one else needed to understand.

But now that I’m here—grown, I’ve come to understand that being an adult isn’t about leaving behind the magic of childhood. It’s about returning to it, living it, without needing to explain it to anyone.

It means believing, still, that there might be a tiny bathtub tucked beneath the hedgerows where mice come to get clean after a day of playing outside. That gnome girls wear aprons simply because they love the way they flutter when they spin around. That a cozy, pointy hat doesn’t need a reason at all—it just feels right. And it means knowing, deep down, that a watering can is never just a watering can. It’s a vessel for tending not just to plants, but to the quiet magic of everyday life. ✨

‘𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘮𝘦, 𝘓𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘹… 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘯𝘰 𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘦𝘨𝘨.’

Mrs. Gnome had been wandering through the woods, whith her apron dancing in the wind, when she spotted him—nose twitching, tail curled up, staring at a rather suspiciously large egg as if it had just fallen from the sky.

Little Fox blinked and gave it a sniff. “𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳,” he whispered. “𝘐𝘵’𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘧𝘶𝘭... 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦.” Mrs Gnome placed her hands behind her back. “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘯 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘨𝘨, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸.” The fox tilted his head. “𝘖𝘩?”

“𝘠𝘦𝘴. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘰𝘯, 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵.”

The fox sighed: “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘺,” he said. “𝘐𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵, 𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘪𝘵?”

Mrs Gnome chuckled. “𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘌𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘦𝘨𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨!”

A tiny robin, hopped on a branch. Little Fox let out a deep sigh—the sort of sigh only foxes can manage—and finally sat up.

“𝘞𝘦𝘭𝘭, 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵, 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵. 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦.”

Sweet Mrs Gnome grinned, eyes twinkling. “𝘈𝘩, 𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘹…𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 𝘢 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘺. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥.”

And so, Little Fox turned away to play with the robins in the woods.

Mrs. Gnome patted the egg gently and walked off home, knowing that somewhere, not too far away, 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 was about to stumble upon the most marvelous surprise.
