A garland of light for every time of year, The Four Seasons postcard lamp brings warmth and wonder to your home through a series of tender, seasonal scenes. From spring’s playful joy to winter’s quiet coziness, each illustration glows with life and story when illuminated from within.
The set includes four interchangeable postcards: a pair of gnomes stringing flowers with the help of robins in spring, a moonlit summer campfire with woodland friends, an autumn badger in conversation with a bird, and two mice decorating in a snow-covered landscape filled with buttons and cinnamon warmth. These high-quality art cards can be changed throughout the year, making the lamp a lovely companion for seasonal rhythms and home rituals.
Handcrafted with care by the skilled artisans of Het Houtlokael, a local wood workshop in Alkmaar, the Netherlands, the lamp features an FSC-certified walnut frame and durable woven fabric. Whether used on a nightstand, celebration table, or storytelling nook, The Four Seasons brings a sense of time, tenderness, and enchantment into the everyday.

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.
Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.
My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
