Under the glowing light of a late-winter moon, a parade of small wonders makes its way through the woods. A pirate, a fairy, a lion-hearted knight, and Little Red Riding Hood—each child wrapped in the joyful mischief of Carnaval. Laughter twirls like ribbons in the dusk, and every costume tells a story waiting to be heard.
This postcard is a tender tribute to Carnaval, as celebrated in many Waldorf traditions: not as loud spectacle, but as a time of transformation, storytelling, and shared delight. Before the hush of Lent, the world sparkles with play.
Printed on thick, high-quality cardstock with a soft matte finish, this A6 postcard is perfect for seasonal tables, invitations, or gifting to those who love childhood whimsy and celebration rooted in rhythm.
Each card is wrapped with care in eco-friendly packaging—a small keepsake of the magic that happens when imagination leads the way.

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.
Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.
My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
