Dream Flight – Postcard

Through the quiet forest light, an owl glides low between the trees. Upon its back, a small child sleeps, resting against soft feathers underneath a blanket as if this flight has always belonged to them. The owl’s wings are wide and steady. There is no rush in this movement — only trust. The kind of trust that feels almost like sleep. Almost like a dream.

I created “Dream Flight” as an ode to that softness — the way dreams can carry us without effort. The way we sometimes move forward not through force, but by allowing ourselves to be held.

A tender postcard for moments of transition, for children and grown souls alike, and for anyone learning that trust can have wings. Part of the Enchanted Autumn postcard collection.
