Product description

As the sun sinks low and the sky blushes with twilight, a girl settles by the water’s edge, a book cradled in her lap. Around her, three white geese linger in quiet curiosity, drawn not only by the stillness, but by the spell of the story unfolding. The trees rustle softly above, and the lake listens too.

Lake’s Tale is a painted love letter to the hush of evening, the companionship of creatures, and the quiet joy of getting lost in a book. Set beneath a canopy of golden leaves, this print glows with summer’s warmth and the gentle pace of a story shared without a word.

A perfect piece for reading corners, a bedroom wall or anyone who treasures the slower moments — when time seems to pause just long enough for a tale to settle in your heart.

Let Lake’s Tale remind you that the quietest stories are often the ones that stay with us the longest.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
