Step into my collection of fairytale postcards — a small corner of the shop dedicated to the stories I grew up loving. I’m Iris Esther, an independent illustrator, and these cards are my way of revisiting the tales that first taught me what wonder felt like.
You’ll find illustrations inspired by the Brothers Grimm and Hans Christian Andersen, lovingly drawn in my own storybook style. Little Red Riding Hood walks the woodland path to her grandmother’s cottage. The gingerbread house from Hansel and Gretel waits in the depth of the forest. The Frog Prince sits by the pond, Thumbelina drifts among the water lilies, and golden stars fall from the sky in The Star Talers.
Each card begins as an original illustration in my studio, and is then printed on FSC-certified paper and wrapped in eco-conscious packaging. Postcards are officially meant for the post, but I know many of you place them on nature tables, frame them in children’s rooms, or keep them in seasonal displays at home, which is such a blessing.
If you love old fairytales, storybook illustration, and the feeling of opening a beloved book from your childhood, I hope these cards bring a little of that same magic into your everyday life.
