Welcome to my silhouette collection of the seasons lamp. I’m Iris Esther, an independent illustrator, and this is the shape my work takes when I want an illustration to bring a room to life through soft, ambient light rather than ink on paper.

The lamp can hold an illustrated silhouette that I’ve drawn by hand in my studio. When the lamp is lit, the illustration glows from within and casts gentle shadow scenes across the room. The silhouettes are interchangeable, so you can move with the seasons: Autumn Leaves in October, Birds & Bees in spring, Campfire Song in the cool evenings of late summer, Deer Delights for winter quiet, and Beat of My Own Drum when you want something a little more spiritual.

The lamps are designed and created by hand by my dear friends at Het Houtlokael a local wood workshop in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. Created for the corners of the home where soft light matters most — bedside tables, reading chairs, children’s rooms, and creative desks where the day winds down slowly. They suit homes that follow the rhythm of the year and like small ways of marking it visually.
