Some things are not meant to impress, only to stay. The silhouette of Berrytale is a quiet celebration of late summer and early autumn, when small creatures gather berries and the world feels rich and generous.
Created for the Seasons Lamp, these illustrated sheets are meant to be returned to, year after year. When the lamp is lit, the image glows softly, as if it has been waiting. It brings a quiet warmth into the room — the kind that does not ask for attention, but gently invites you to pause, look, and imagine.
All illustrations for the seasonal light are inspired by fairytales and old storybooks — the kind you may remember from childhood, where animals spoke, forests felt endless, and time moved a little slower. Each image carries that same sense of wonder, as if it could belong to a well-loved book taken from the shelf again and again.
Each insert slips easily into the lamp and can be changed with the turning of the seasons, with family celebrations, or simply when a softer light is needed. Over time, the lamp becomes a small collection of visual stories, gathered one by one — familiar, comforting, and quietly alive in the glow. A heirloom piece that does not try to stand out, but gently belongs. Bringing a quiet sense of story into everyday life.

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.
Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.
My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
