Product description

Guiding Light – Postcard

On a quiet night path, beneath a watchful moon, a small light moves steadily through the trees. It is not bright enough to banish the dark — only enough to take the next step. I created “Guiding Light” with those moments in mind when the way forward is not fully clear. When you cannot see the whole path, but you can trust the small circle of light you carry.

The forest may feel deeper at night. Shadows shift. Sounds grow softer. Yet there is a calm in moving slowly, guided not by certainty, but by quiet confidence. This postcard is a gentle reminder that you do not need a floodlight to find your way. Sometimes a lantern, held carefully, is enough.

A thoughtful piece for someone beginning something new, walking through change, or simply learning to trust their own steady glow. This card is also part of the “Whispers of the Wilde ” card set of 9, you can find them here.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
