Candlemouse – Candlemas & Imbolc Illustrated Postcard

Product description

At the edge of winter’s slumber, just as the earth begins to stir and snowdrops peek from the soil, a little mouse steps softly into the light. With cupped paws and quiet care, it places a glowing flame onto the water’s surface—one of many floating prayers to guide the turning year.

This postcard is a tender celebration of Candlemas, Imbolc, and the quiet joy of early February festivals. Rooted in Waldorf rhythms and nature’s wisdom, it honors the time when winter sighs and spring begins to breathe—when we light candles not just for warmth, but for hope.

With gentle golden light, mossy banks, and a flicker of stillness, this A6 card invites you to mark a sacred pause. Perfect for seasonal tables, quiet notes of renewal, or for sending a spark of light to someone’s heart.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairy tales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
