Product description

Spring Break – A Gentle Spring Postcard

In “Spring Break”, a woolly lamb and a small yellow chick rest side by side in a patch of daisies. The light is soft, the grass still fresh and young. They sit close together, as if the whole world can wait a little longer.

I have always loved those first warm spring days when everything feels slightly unhurried. When animals stretch out in the sun, and you find yourself doing the same. This illustration grew from that feeling — simple, quiet, and golden.

There is something comforting about seeing unlikely friends sharing the same small piece of meadow. No rush. No grand adventure. Just a pause in the light.

A gentle postcard for spring greetings, Easter, or to place on a seasonal table. Also lovely in a child’s room or near a kitchen window, where the changing light can remind you that warmer days are on their way.

This postcard is also part of the Spring Postcards Set of 9 — a small collection filled with light, new beginnings, and the joy of spring. You can find this set here

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
