Product description

ender Beginnings – A Gentle Spring Postcard

In “Tender Beginnings”, a girl sits quietly in the meadow, holding a small chick with both hands — carefully and precious. Around her, a lamb linger nearby, Mother Chicken holds watch and a curious goose stands close. No one is in a hurry. The moment feels still and trusting.

I created this illustration from my own childhood memories. As a child, I often visited a nearby farm just to watch the newborn lambs in spring. I remember being there, simply observing — the soft wool, the unsteady first steps, the presence of the animals. That gentle atmosphere stayed with me.

This postcard is a small tribute to those early spring days — to new life, quiet care, and the calm joy of being among animals. Beautiful to send as a seasonal greeting, to place on a spring table, or to keep nearby as a reminder of how softly new beginnings can arrive.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
