Product description

Postcard – My Dragon and I
A spirited postcard inspired by the tale of Saint George and the Dragon — with a twist of childlike mischief and courage.

There are no fierce battles here. Only the brave seriousness of make-believe. The kind where courage is practised in small steps, and dragons are friends who walk beside you. I created “My Dragon and I” with the spirit of Michaelmas in mind — that gentle encouragement toward inner strength as the days grow shorter. A reminder that bravery does not always roar. Sometimes it simply plays.

A warm postcard for autumn mail, seasonal tables, or for little heroes who carry their courage in imaginative ways.

This cheerful illustration is inspired by the Waldorf celebration of Michaelmas — a time of bravery, inner strength, and light in the face of growing shadows. A perfect choice for autumn mail, celebration tables, or as a playful gift for little heroes and their dragons. Part of the Waldorf postcard  set of 12, you find here.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
