Maypole Dance postcard

Product description

In the heart of a flower-speckled meadow, where the breeze smells of blossoms and song, children gather to dance the ancient dance of spring. With paper flower crowns upon their heads and satin ribbons in hand, they skip around the Maypole, laughter weaving through the air like silk on the wind. Overhead, a white dove watches peacefully, as if blessing the circle below.

This gentle, joy-filled postcard captures the spirit of May Day as celebrated in Waldorf traditions—where rhythm, reverence, and beauty bloom side by side. It speaks to the magic of childhood, the turning of the seasons, and the quiet power of community rituals.

Printed on thick 350gsm FSC-certified cardstock with a soft matte finish, this A6 postcard is perfect for springtime altars, gifts, classroom displays, or simply sending a note full of light and warmth.

Wrapped with care in eco-conscious packaging, it brings a little sunshine to any home, celebration, or letter.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
