Product description

Woodland Whispers – Art Postcard

In the early light of an autumn morning, she steps quietly into the forest. Leaves soften her footsteps. Her dress brushes against moss and low branches. The air is cool, carrying that stillness that belongs only to early day when the world is still in that state between dream and wake.

A robin settles lightly on her finger, unafraid. From the undergrowth, squirrels pause and watch. For a brief moment, nothing moves too quickly. It feels as if the forest is listening — and being listened to in return.

I created “Woodland Whispers” with those quiet woodland walks in mind, when the world feels hushed and you become aware of the smallest sounds: a wingbeat, a falling leaf, your own breath. That moment when you are part of it and it’s all in perfect balance.

A gentle postcard for autumn correspondence, seasonal tables, or to keep close as a reminder of how grounding a walk among trees can be.

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
