Product description

Entangled – A Folklore Postcard

Some stories arrive quietly.

In “Entangled,” two sisters stand close together in a moonlit forest. Their long braided hair catches the pale light. Delicate antlers rise from their heads, threaded with fine silver webs that glimmer against the dark. Bats move softly above them, and the trees seem to lean in.

There is no fear here, only stillness. The kind of hush that belongs to autumn evenings, when the air turns cool and the world feels older than it did in summer.

This illustration was created for the darker months of the year — for that time when we light candles earlier, stay indoors longer, and listen more closely to old tales.

“Entangled” carries a quiet sense of courage and closeness. A postcard for those who are not afraid of shadow, who find beauty in mystery, and who know that even the longest night holds a gentle glow somewhere within it. Also available as an art print you can find here.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
