Product description

Wonderment – Autumn Postcard

In a quiet patch of autumn forest, a bear lowers his head to look closely at something very small. A snail has crossed his path, moving patiently through the fallen leaves.

They meet at eye level — large and small, slow and slower — and for a brief moment the world seems to hold still. I created “Wonderment” from that simple idea: that curiosity does not belong only to children. That even the biggest among us can pause for the smallest of creatures.

The light is warm, the leaves turning gold, the air unhurried. It is an illustration about attention — about noticing what is right in front of you. A gentle postcard for autumn correspondence, seasonal tables, or to send to someone who values quiet observation and small discoveries.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
