Product description

Once, at the very edge of autumn, when the fields had grown quiet and the sky turned soft with gold, a girl returned to her scarecrow friend. All year he had watched the land — through green shoots and ripening fruit, through sun and storm — silent and faithful.

On this evening, just before winter would claim the earth, the impossible happened.

The scarecrow bowed. Leaves lifted from the ground as if invited, and beneath the lowering sun the girl and the scarecrow began to dance. Slowly at first, then lighter — round and round, among whispers of straw and wind. It was a farewell only nature could witness: a thank-you for the season that had been, and a promise spoken without words that nothing truly ends. It only rests.

The Scarecrow’s Dance is a fairytale of turning times — of endings that carry beginnings inside them and of quiet friendship. Told through swirling leaves and fading light, it holds the magic of moments that pass unseen, yet linger long after.

A story to place where seasons are honoured, dreams are kept, and the earth is allowed to sleep — knowing that spring, one day, will return again.

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
