Product description

This illustration was created for the walk home at the end of the day, when the light softens and everything feels complete for a moment.

Under the glow of the harvest moon, a small tribute to that Neil Young song with the same name, a girl follows the familiar path through the orchards. Her basket is full, her hands are tired, and yet she moves freely in the evening air. Apples hang heavy on the trees beside her, holding the last warmth of the sun, while birds circle above as if seeing her safely on her way.

Harvest Moon was created as a quiet tribute to autumn’s rhythm — to the beauty of gathering what is ready, and to the comfort of returning home with something earned. It is a story of simplicity, of gratitude without words, and of days shaped by light, weather, and care rather than hurry.

This piece is for you if autumn feels like a deep breath. If you find peace in everyday rituals, in countryside paths, and in moments that do not ask to be extraordinary to be meaningful. It belongs where the season is honoured — on a seasonal table, in a calm corner, or wherever you slow down as the year turns inward.

Let Harvest Moon remind you that there is a quiet joy in carrying what you have gathered and in walking home by your own familiar way.

MEET ME

IRIS ESTHER

I’m Iris Esther, an illustrator and mother of two, creating illustrated art, art prints, postcards, and small paper goods from my forest-side home studio. With a green birdhouse in the first tree outside my window, I work guided by nature, fairytales, changing seasons and by a deep love for making art by hand.

Growing up, being outside wasn’t a destination but a way of living. My art grew from that same gentle rhythm.

My illustrations are made to quietly support everyday life — bringing a sense of enchantment to family celebrations, seasonal rituals, and small moments that matter.
